Ce que vous ferez
- Fournir ou coordonner des instructions de remise à niveau en cabine ou hors cabine, ainsi que du coaching auprès des conducteurs, qu’ils soient juniors ou expérimentés.
- Effectuer des vérifications de sécurité sur les conducteurs et les camions afin de s’assurer qu’ils respectent les politiques de l’entreprise ainsi que les réglementations provinciales et fédérales.
- Suivre et rendre compte des activités de sécurité pour améliorer la performance de votre division.
- Participer ou coordonner l’intervention lors des premiers appels d’urgence.
- Mener des entrevues post-collision avec les conducteurs en collaboration avec votre équipe des opérations.
- Présenter les résultats et activités hebdomadaires lors des appels d’équipe avec le gestionnaire de la sécurité et de la conformité.
- Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience pertinente
- Diplôme d’études secondaires + certificat d’un an
- Posséder un permis AZ valide - Classe 1
- Expérience de formateur de camionneur de flotte ou certification CPCP
- Aptitude à piloter les changements organisationnels et les évolutions de la législation provinciale
- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et de communication
- Maîtrise des techniques formelles de résolution de problèmes, de rapports et d’enquêtes
- Sens de l’urgence, capacité à gérer la pression et plusieurs priorités/projets à la fois
- Connaissance démontrée de tous les types de véhicules
- Capacité à travailler de façon autonome ou en équipe
- Intégrité et discrétion dans le traitement des informations confidentielles
- Maîtrise de Word, Excel et PowerPoint

What You Will Do
- Provide/Coordinate remedial and/or in-cab instruction and coaching to newer and experienced drivers when required.
- Conduct safety checks on drivers and trucks to ensure they are safe and following our company policies as well as Provincial and Federal regulations.
- Track and report on safety activities to improve safety within your division(s) .
- Assist/Coordinate and/or lead first response calls.
- Conduct post collision interviews with drivers along with your Operations team.
- Report weekly results and activities during weekly team calls with Safety and Compliance Manager.
- 2 years of relevant experience
- High school diploma + 1 year certificate
- Must have a valid AZ license
- Fleet Driver trainer experience and/or PDIC certification
- Ability to drive organizational and provincial legislation changes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Formal problem-solving techniques, reporting, investigations experience
- Hands on with a sense of urgency, ability to manage under pressure and manage multiple priorities and projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of all types of vehicles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Integrity and ability to handle and maintain confidential information
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
