Job Description:

Position Summary

We currently have an opening for a Source to Pay student to join our team in our Waterloo office location. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a “can-do” attitude who is comfortable working autonomously and can successfully prioritize, as well as manage multiple priorities. You will report to the Manager, Accounts Payable and will be instrumental in working on high impact projects that give you exposure to Procurement, Sourcing, Contracting, Accounts Payable and Vendor Management.

Work Location: Waterloo, ON

Length of Term: 8 Months

Responsibilities

  • Help draft policies and procedures.
  • Help organize databases and documents.
  • Help document requirements from workshops and create process flow diagrams.
  • Work on project documentation (including how to guides, training guides, SOX documents, etc.).
  • Learn S2P process and help make other process improvements.
  • At-Hoc projects as they come up.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in a related program or discipline.
  • Working knowledge of Procurement, Sourcing, Contracting and Accounts Payable.
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial principles along with great analytical skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems, NetSuite (preferred), Accu-Image or similar AP system, Concur or other procurement system.
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced Excel: Pivots, lookups, macros.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail in all areas.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
