Distribution Expeditor

Summary:

As the Distribution Expeditor, you will support the organization and the operational processes to meet agreed KPIs by overseeing the applicable Warehouse processes to ensure accurate daily and weekly resource planning and identifying areas of improvement. As an expert in role, you will cover for the Department Manager in times of absence, allocating daily workload among team and acting as Mentor by supporting and training staff.

What You Will Do:

• Assist in leading and participating in department meetings to review productivity, address issues, prioritize tasks, and communicate daily operational status to the Manager, Distribution.
• Support and participate in the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives and the 6S program in alignment with Stryker’s quality management system and GMP.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date shipping discrepancy log, reporting discrepancies to Quality Assurance and supporting investigations as needed.
• Establish and maintain a consistent flow of inbound and outbound processing to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintain current training on departmental and company SOPs, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Stay compliant with Canadian regulations by completing annual GMP training and applying this knowledge to daily tasks.
• Identify, recommend, and communicate procedural updates based on evolving operational needs and observations.
• Ensure compliance with all quality standards and contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across DC activities.
  
  

What You Need:

Required:

• Combination of post-secondary education and 3 years’ experience OR high-school diploma and 5 years’ experience performing distribution functions within an ERP/WMS
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  
  

Preferred:

• Post-secondary education focus in supply-chain, business or technology
