Human Resources Administrator - 1 Year Contract


The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for ensuring a smooth and professional employee experience from offer acceptance through the first day and beyond. You’ll be the go-to person for onboarding logistics and HRIS data management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive experience for new hires.


How will you contribute to the team?


To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate and execute the end-to-end onboarding process, including new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling and HRIS administration.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for new hires, answering questions and providing support during the onboarding phase.
  • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate HRIS reports for internal use and assist in audits or data requests.
  • Collaborate with IT, payroll & benefits, hiring managers, and other departments to ensure all pre-start arrangements are in place.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the onboarding experience, seeking opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist with other administrative HR tasks as needed.


Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in HR administration, preferably with a focus on onboarding and HRIS.
  • Prior experience with common HRIS platforms is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
