Reporting to the Manager - Seniors' Supportive Housing, the Client & Family Engagement Lead will take a lead role in getting feedback from stakeholders including clients and families on program development that will enable clients to live in seniors supportive housing longer and safer, further delaying or eliminating the need to transfer to long-term care.
Key responsibilities of this role will include developing meaningful and collaborative relationships that will inform service planning and improvements of the supportive housing program.
The preferred candidate will have experience in service delivery rooted in client-centered care, and seniors' care with emphasis on community living.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- A minimum of an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field with demonstrated knowledge of seniors' health in a community setting
- Demonstrated experience in group facilitation, facilitating meetings, and reporting
- Experience working with seniors and knowledge of community resources
Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to identify systemic issues, plan improvements, measure success and continue quality improvement
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and families
- Skills related to preparing presentations and the ability to connect with the target audiences
- Demonstrated excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point and Outlook)
Assets:
- Registered member in good standing with applicable professional college in Ontario is considered an asset (e.g. College of Nurses of Ontario, Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, Ontario College of Psychologists, College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario)
