THE ROLE

A well-established and fast-growing financial services firm based in Surrey, BC is hiring for a Marketing Manager. With over three decades of expertise, the company is recognized for its strong client relationships, entrepreneurial mindset, and collaborative culture. The head office houses a small, tight-knit team of approximately 15 professionals.

The Marketing Manager will lead the company’s overall marketing strategy and day-to-day execution, reporting directly to the CEO. This is a strategic yet hands-on role that includes managing internal team members, optimizing digital performance, and driving lead-generation initiatives to support sales and brand growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business goals in financial and equipment service sectors.
  • Manage and mentor the marketing team, including a Marketing Coordinator.
  • Lead execution of marketing campaigns including content creation, email marketing, paid ads, social media, and website optimization.
  • Partner with the sales team to design lead-generation strategies that directly contribute to revenue.
  • Oversee and optimize digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, Mailchimp, and analytics platforms.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints and ensure a strong market presence.
  • Track key performance metrics and continually refine strategy to maximize ROI.
  • Manage third-party vendors or freelancers as needed to support execution.
  • Foster a results-oriented, customer-centric marketing approach throughout all activities.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of B2B and B2C marketing experience, preferably in financial services, equipment, or similar industries.
  • Demonstrated success designing and launching lead-generation campaigns with measurable impact on sales pipelines.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, Mailchimp/HubSpot) with a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience in the equipment financing or commercial lending space is an asset.
  • Background in a small or mid-sized company, managing marketing end-to-end.
  • Familiarity with brand management, public relations, or vendor coordination.
