About This Position

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection is a charitable organization dedicated to the personal safety of all children. We are seeking a personable, energetic, and proactive individual to fill the full-time position of Bilingual Education and Training Coordinator.

As a key member of our Education Team, the Bilingual Education and Training Coordinator plays an important role in supporting school boards and child-serving organizations across Canada, helping to increase the safety of hundreds of thousands of children each year. This includes establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to build their capacity to understand child safeguarding issues and to implement child sexual abuse prevention programs and resources. As part of this work the Coordinator delivers presentations and workshops—in person and online—in both English and French, contributes to team initiatives for program expansion, proactively connects with stakeholders through phone and email outreach, and works collaboratively with Centre staff to support the development and dissemination of educational resources and online training delivery.

Requirements Include:

  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse audiences
  • Experience in effectively communicating complex or sensitive information (oral, written and interpersonal)
  • Demonstrated time and process-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and trouble-shooting skills
  • Proficiency in the use of computers including word processing, spreadsheets, CRM tools, email, and web-based applications
  • Skilled in multitasking and adapting within fast paced environment
  • Experience working with schools or child-serving organizations is an asset
  • Availability for future travel within Canada is required
  • French/English bilingualism is required

This position offers a salary range of $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
