What is the scope of this role?
Incumbent is responsible for development; organization and control of project materials; schedules and costs for multiple to large scale projects. Function as a liaison between internal and external clients; technical staff; contractors and vendors from project conception to project completion. May provide subject matter expertise in technical areas such as telecommunications; data communications; information systems and technology infrastructure design; administration; security; maintenance and support. May work with upper level management and the project office to determine project and initiative priorities. Incumbent may also mentor junior project manager; influence project office “best practices” and facilitate various technical steering committees. May manage project from a technical perspective either client driven or internal NetCracker driven projects.

Responsibilities
- Independently develop the responsibilities and specifications and resource plan for projects by identifying project phases and elements, studying project/client requirements, develop project teams, reviewing contracts and managing P&L.
- Function as single point of contact for reporting project status.
- Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Make recommendations for executive actions when required.
- Provide leadership to Project Team and others, both intra- and inter-departmentally.
- Develop schedule of activities outlining program life cycle and responsibilities that when complete will meet the business plan expectations.
- Provide fiscal management of the projects within the capital and expense budgetary limits prescribed.
- Provide workload balancing, prioritization, dependencies and integration of multiple projects to ensure feasibility of schedule.
- Oversee the development of each aspect of the program/project resolving the most difficult work problems. Solutions require resolution of complex operation and integration issues.
- Provide detail and summary reporting of program status including progress and completion outlook.
- Prepare briefing material and present overviews when required.
- Ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Identify all issues of the project, including technical issues, and bring to resolution.
- Provide technical recommendations based on review of operational processes and procedures.
- Manage client and vendor issues in relation to implementation decisions and preferences.
- Anticipate and resolve management, resource and scheduling problems.
- May function as the technical project manager on the implementation team that is led by the overall client implementation project manager or may serve as the overall client implementation project manager.
- Coordinate interdepartmental and corporate technology initiatives and commitment to client programs.
- Proven ability to lead multi-million, business transformational programs involving complex technical solutions, in the BSS industry.
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced business knowledge and excellent project management skills.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision on complex projects.
- Detail and customer service oriented.
- Proficiency with various software applications programs such as Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project is desirable.
- Strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions.
- Ability to conduct in-depth research and present technical recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage medium scale, collaborative, technical projects to closure.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
- Experience in working in a multi-client and multi-vendor environment.
- Ability to work in group environment which achieves results through teamwork.
- Ability to travel
- Must have the right to work in US
- A degree in a related field
