Director, IT Asset Management Governance & Oversight

What You’ll Be Doing

Oversee the asset management owner & inventory governance activities for all business units within the Technology, Infrastructure & Innovation Technology Operations line of business. This includes championing the analysis & creation of critical risk insights for leadership consideration, working through the issue remediation compliance process with asset owners, ensuring appropriate diligence is conducted to prepare risk insights to your colleagues ITAM metrics and summary reports. Youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How You’ll Succeed

  • ITAM Governance – Work with internal and external stakeholders, like Architecture, Currency, Cyber, business app & infrastructure service owners to ensure effectively and timely compliance to ITAM standards and policies. This includes completing validation and identifying opportunities to deliver sustainable cost savings, conducting quarterly and annual updates to ITAM standards, assessing & providing risk-based recommendations on control compliance issues, exceptions or deficiencies by technology portfolio, identifying opportunities for improvement and areas for innovation.
  • Balancing Priorities – Provide leadership and advice in working with a broad variety of business & technology partners to provide oversight to compliance activities, advice & support on execution of work that is often time sensitive. Your ability to manage conflicting priorities is paramount as the governance covers monthly, quarterly and annual risk control operations, as well as key strategic improvements of ITAM products & services.
  • Strategic Thinking Approach – Take a holistic view to all tasks. You drive, manage and execute the evolution of the governance & oversight practice as a key service within Technology. This will include onboarding new teams, leveraging new tools and providing insights on possible new approaches & strategies that may be contemplated in working with asset, infrastructure & business app owners.

Must Have

  • Proven experience in IT Asset Management and Governance.
  • Strong knowledge of ITAM standards and policies.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver results in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Experience with ServiceNow toolsets.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certifications in IT Asset Management or related areas are preferred.
