Our client is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Mount Pearl, NL.

Our client is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Mount Pearl, NL.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electronic systems with a focus on functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Create wiring harnesses and cable assemblies while considering signal integrity, thermal management, and EMC/EMI compliance.
- Contribute to system architecture development and integrate electrical components into complex systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including mechanical, firmware, and CAD engineers, as well as product designers - to ensure seamless system integration.
- Assist in developing and executing test plans and procedures; conduct validation to ensure electrical system reliability and performance.
- Participate in design reviews and engineering deliverables assessments.
- Provide technical support to the Production department during manufacturing.
- Support field operations by understanding and responding to project requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of PCB design and testing methodologies.
- Ability to manage detailed design work while maintaining awareness of broader project goals.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience reviewing and designing PCB fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Highly organized with effective task prioritization.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and processes.
Experience with any of the following tools and areas is considered an asset:
- Altium Designer
- Zuken E3
- LabVIEW
- Google Colab
- High-voltage systems
