Your Key Responsibilities

  • Able to set up, calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot at an advanced level all equipment or processes in assigned area.
  • Provide advanced technical support to all operators in assigned area. This support includes but is not limited to addressing issues related to machinery, tooling, process gauging and production print interpretation.
  • Understand, assist, and participate in the application of Material Review Board, (MRB) procedures when dealing with quality issues. As required generate rework routers, inspection method sheets, drawings, and any other required documentation with respect to MRB process.
  • Assist Leader in coordination/scheduling of work in the assigned area.
  • In absence of Leader be responsible for the coordination/scheduling of work by others in the as-signed area.
  • As required assist in the commissioning and/or running of new equipment, machinery, processes, and prototypes.
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process. Monitor production process ac-cording to maintenance schedule and perform routine maintenance in timely manner as required.
  • Required to perform inspection on own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work.
  • Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS, and any other production tracking systems.
  • Required to train other operators as needed.
  • May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a process for others to operate.
  • Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work.
  • Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.

Your Qualifications

  • Education: Grade 12 diploma required.
  • Experience: Demonstrated competency all facets of cell/department operations and high level of mechanical aptitude and/or hold certification in skills related to associated discipline.
  • Skills: Knowledge of production and quality systems.
