In this role, you'll be crucial in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and expense reports, and you'll play a key part in the smooth execution of payment runs. You'll ensure we adhere to all accounts payable policies, assist in preparing essential financial reports, and support our vendor communications. You'll also be instrumental in providing documentation for month-end activities and audits, and you'll support the business with our new 3-way match process. Your Daily Adventures
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices and expense reports, playing a critical role in maintaining efficient financial operations.
- Manage vendor relationships, proactively resolving any payment or invoice-related issues to foster strong partnerships.
- Facilitate the payment-run process, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements.
- Assist in monitoring and improving accounts payable processes, identifying efficiencies and reporting observations to senior leadership.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes for accounts payable, contributing to precise financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create basic formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a definite asset!).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
- The ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy to ensure precise financial processing.
