We’re looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team! In collaboration with their HR colleagues, this strategic partner role with our business colleagues will be responsible for managing the entire human resources cycle, managing certain projects, and solving problems. They will act as an expert in employee relations and collaborate with other stakeholders to design and deploy HR initiatives to achieve their strategic objectives. They will also manage a team of HR professionals.

What You’ll Do Here

  • Lead and develop a team of HR professionals and contribute to maintaining and improving employee engagement, both within HR and for the organization.
  • Apply your knowledge of HR best practices to guide decision-making.
  • Exert strong leadership and influence at various levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate with company leaders and executives to deploy HR programs that will help achieve business results.
  • Monitor HR-related indicators within your area of responsibility and, if necessary, anticipate the required actions.
  • Contribute to the execution and deployment of the annual HR cycle, which includes performance management, talent and succession management, and engagement.
  • Support the team and organizational partners by helping them resolve employee relations issues or any other complex issues.
  • Stay informed about industry and HR trends and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Recommend changes based on internal trends and competitive benchmarking analysis.
  • Collaborate with various centers of expertise, such as talent acquisition and compensation, on strategies for the business units under your responsibility.
  • Actively contribute to special projects (regional or national) as needed.

What You Bring To The Table

  • University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Human Resources roles with increasing responsibilities, including at least 7 years as a HR Business partner.
  • Experience in managing, mentoring and coaching employees.
  • CHRP designation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to develop and foster favourable business relationships
  • Demonstration of behaviors related to our values and leadership success factors.
  • Result-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Proven influence and leadership abilities.
  • Professional, high-energy and goal oriented
  • Mandatory knowledge of labor relations principles (knowledge of labor laws in multiple Canadian provinces is an asset).
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism (French and english) is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
