Position Overview
The Director, Digital Workplace is responsible for defining and executing the strategy that enables a delightful, secure, and resilient employee technology experience across the enterprise. This leader is accountable for foundational infrastructure platforms, services, vendors, and teams that support collaboration, endpoint management, mobility, and user experience monitoring, ensuring technology aligns with business needs and enhances employee experience.
This role is pivotal in modernizing the digital workplace ecosystem, optimizing service delivery through automation, and driving adoption of innovative tools that support hybrid and global work environments.

Position Overview
The Director, Digital Workplace is responsible for defining and executing the strategy that enables a delightful, secure, and resilient employee technology experience across the enterprise. This leader is accountable for foundational infrastructure platforms, services, vendors, and teams that support collaboration, endpoint management, mobility, and user experience monitoring, ensuring technology aligns with business needs and enhances employee experience.
This role is pivotal in modernizing the digital workplace ecosystem, optimizing service delivery through automation, and driving adoption of innovative tools that support hybrid and global work environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the digital workplace strategy aligned to the enterprise’s business goals and workforce needs.
- Endpoint management (Windows, macOS, mobile)
- Patching processes for security compliancy for devices
- Collaboration platforms
- Device lifecycle management and VDI
- Digital Experience Monitoring
- IT self-service portals, automation, and mobile applications
- Drive the transition to modern endpoint management (e.g., Autopilot, Intune, MDM).
- Lead zero-touch provisioning, unified endpoint strategy, and automation of routine support tasks
- Build and manage a high-performing internal team and/or managed service providers responsible for workplace technology delivery and support.
- Oversee external vendors and partners to ensure adherence to SLAs and strategic alignment.
- Consult and coordinate with Change Management to integrate change capabilities where identified.
- Partner and Collaborate with Internal IT Teams and external key Business Stakeholders to ensure cohesive support and service delivery
- Champion the employee experience by transforming how users interact with IT services and workplace technologies.
- Serve as the executive owner of the Digital Workplace roadmap, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a minimum of 15 years’ work experience in Digital Workplace organizations in lieu of degree
- Certification and/or Licenses
- At least 10 years of IT and business/industry experience, Service Delivery, design and deployment, systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planning and operations
- At least 5 years of experience overseeing managed service provider.
- 5 years of global or international leadership experience in managing multiple, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders in multi-cultural environments.
- Demonstrated experience of successfully leading and executing transformational organizational change.
- Interpersonal Skills - leadership, interactions, communication, influence
- Leadership: Inspires teams and drives accountability across matrixed environments. Leads through vision, clarity, and trust—especially during periods of change or ambiguity.
- Builds strong cross-functional partnerships with IT, HR, Facilities, Security, and business units to deliver aligned, user-centric outcomes.
- Communicates clearly at all levels, translating technical concepts into business terms. Listens actively, shares vision effectively, and delivers polished executive updates.
- Champions change through influence, not authority. Gains stakeholder buy-in by articulating value, driving adoption of modern tools, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
