Key Responsibilities
- Manage Fleet and Equipment: Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of trucks, forklifts, and other essential equipment.
- Warehouse and Delivery Oversight: Coordinate scheduling, dispatching, and inventory management.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff and drivers while promoting a safety-first culture.
- Vendor and Staff Liaison: Communicate effectively with vendors, employees, and customers to ensure seamless operations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service and build strong relationships with customers.
- Safety and Compliance: Champion safe work practices and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance.
- Strong communication skills for effectively liaising with vendors, employees, and customers.
- Experience in distribution, logistics, or trucking is highly desirable.
- A people-focused mindset with an understanding of the importance of collaboration and relationships.
- Knowledge of fleet and equipment maintenance preferred
- A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
