What to Expect:

Do you excel in Paid Search and Display and thrive on driving media strategy to increase consideration and intent to buy? Then read on! In this role, you will lead and complete SEM & DSP strategies on Amazon platforms and acquire new customers and drive sales for Nespresso's Trade digital channel. You will also improve performance media efforts across different audience segments and platforms by bringing to bear intelligent automation.

A day in the life:

Media Strategy and Channel Ownership

  • Partner with the Performance & Campaign Manager to develop cross-channel media strategies aligned with brand and business objectives
  • Collaborate with our external agency to translate briefs into clear media plans and ensure flawless activation across Meta, Google, YouTube, programmatic, and emerging channels
  • Champion the use of data to inform media decisions — from audience selection to budget allocation to bidding strategies

Agency and Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the day-to-day media lead with our agency, ensuring proactive campaign management, timely reporting, and strategic insights are delivered
  • Act as a bridge between the agency, creative, and content teams to ensure assets are optimized for platform and objective
  • Participate in media briefings, creative reviews, and strategic planning meetings

Campaign Performance & Optimization

  • Analyze performance across paid media platforms and support strategic optimizations to drive efficiency, ROAS, and customer acquisition
  • Develop learning agendas and testing frameworks to refine audience targeting, messaging, and creative approaches
  • Work closely with the Paid Media Coordinator to ensure campaign execution, tracking, and pacing run smoothly
  • Work with Amazon Ads team to bring to bear additional insights and planning capabilities using Amazon Marketing Cloud.
  • Work with internal brand team, creative and media agencies to ensure accurate and timely conception and delivery of media assets (banners, videos, ad copy) for all initiatives.

Reporting & Insights

  • Build and present reporting dashboards with actionable insights on campaign performance, customer behavior, and media efficiency
  • Identify trends, performance drivers, and risks — and proactively recommend pivots where needed
  • Support the Performance & Campaign Manager in quarterly business reviews and budget planning exercises
  • Support all prospecting and retargeting initiatives and improve efficiency while delivering on monthly sales goals within budget

Role Requirements

  • Bilingualism in English and French is required for this position. The role involves frequent and complex collaboration with collaborators across the Canadian market and/or internationally. These interactions necessitate a high level of proficiency in English to optimally perform the tasks associated with the job.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Digital marketing role (SEM, Performance Media, Programmatic, Social, Retargeting, Custom Audiences).
  • Full understanding and execution of Amazon PPC products, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Amazon Marketing Cloud
  • Experience in leading external agencies
  • Organized with the ability to self-manage through project managing skills in making tight deadlines across teams
  • Enjoys and supports working with a team while being highly upbeat and flexible in adhering to shifting deadlines
