Hi, Future Homie!

At Homebase, you’ll join a team that’s bold, fast-moving, and obsessed with helping small businesses thrive. We build with empathy, act with urgency, and take big swings that drive real-world impact. Here, every Homie shows up to raise the bar, support one another, and celebrate wins as a team.

We’re not just building an app—we’re building unstoppable teams. So what do you say, are you in?

Your Impact Starts Here

We’re looking for a Senior Product Analyst who’s passionate about empowering product teams through data and experimentation. You’ll play a key role in building and scaling our Amplitude implementation, driving event instrumentation best practices, shaping our user tracking strategy, and elevating how we experiment and measure product impact.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the analytics foundation that powers decision-making across Product, Design, Engineering, and Growth. If you thrive on translating complexity into clarity, delivering high-impact analyses with cross-functional partners, and championing a data-informed culture, we want to hear from you.

These are the key ways you’ll contribute and create impact in this role:

  • Champion and maintain best practices for product-tracking strategy and metadata governance.
  • Contribute to the scaling and evolution of our event-instrumentation framework across all product surfaces, ensuring every event is accurate, well-documented, and actionable.
  • Design and execute product analytics projects and experimentation intiatives—from hypothesis through insight—working closely with PMs, Designers, and Engineers for alignment and impact.
  • Serve as a key partner for experimentation: scope tests, analyze outcomes, and surface data-driven recommendations that influence roadmap decisions
  • Build and maintain intuitive dashboards and reports that bring clarity to feature adoption, customer behavior, and performance metrics.
  • Assist with project planning and prioritization for analytics initiatives, balancing timelines, stakeholder input, and data-quality considerations.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve how we collect, organize, and leverage user-interaction data– living The Homie Way: Own Your Impact and Master Your Craft
  • Experiment with emerging AI/ML tools to accelerate analysis and storytelling, and share learnings with the broader team.

Role

The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:

  • 4+ years of experience in product analytics, growth analytics, or experimentation, ideally within B2B SaaS or a fast-paced startup environment
  • Advanced SQL, with dbt experience as a plus: you can go deep in the data and build scalable models that drive decision-making
  • Proven success designing and analyzing product experiments (e.g., A/B/n tests, multivariate testing)
  • Strong understanding of event tracking strategy, user data modeling, and product analytics tools like Amplitude
  • Comfortable using and evaluating AI tools for data analysis, storytelling, or experimentation: you’re curious, hands-on, and eager to explore how AI can supercharge your work
  • Bonus: Python scripting experience for data exploration or automation
  • Proactive project management mindset: You can independently manage priorities, stakeholders, and timelines
  • Proven ability to deliver on end-to-end analytics initiatives with minimal oversight
  • Excellent communication skills and experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate in the Toronto office weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

The Homie Way - These principles guide everything we do—from how we work and make decisions to how we show up for each other.
