As Principal Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving ground-breaking 0 to 1 product launches that introduce entirely new value propositions, helping shape the future of financial ecosystems for our customers. You will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy, identifying and prioritizing opportunities, and crafting a clear path for executing product initiatives that deliver exceptional customer outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to ensure an elevated level of impact.
Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as it requires strong partnerships across multiple teams and disciplines. You will work closely with other Product Management teams, Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Data Platform teams to bring transformational financial solutions to life. What you'll bring
- 8+ years of product management experience, designing and delivering world-class software products ideally within the FinTech or financial services industry, with a proven track record of driving significant customer and business impact.
- Deep customer empathy and a passion for solving complex problems; experience with consumer-facing products at scale is highly desirable.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate vision into an actionable, outcome-oriented roadmap.
- Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; proficiency in using data to define success, prioritize, and iterate.
- Demonstrable technical depth and curiosity; ability to engage effectively in technical discussions with engineering and architecture teams.
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of inspiring teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Bias for action and experience delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree required; technical degree (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or MBA preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- Craft and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with Intuit’s mission and Consumer Platform Canada’s goals
- Spot market trends and innovation opportunities for defining new 0 to 1 product initiatives, delivering breakthrough financial solutions for our customers.
- Lead end-to-end product development efforts—from identifying unmet customer needs and defining clear requirements to launching products, measuring success, and iterating based on data and outcomes.
- Build and manage a clear, prioritized product roadmap informed by deep customer insights, competitive analysis, data analytics, and strategic business objectives.
- Partner closely with key stakeholders including design, engineering, data sciences, analytics, marketing, finance, and research to deliver high-quality and impactful product experiences rapidly and iteratively.
- Foster an agile, innovative culture to rapidly prototype, iterate, and execute on high-value product opportunities in fast-paced environments.
- Define and measure success metrics (KPIs), optimize customer journeys using data analysis, and communicate impact effectively across the organization to guide future decisions.
- Act as a thought leader within TurboTax, Consumer Platform Canada, and Intuit overall by understanding market dynamics, competitive landscapes, customer behaviors, and emerging technologies.
- Represent your team and product strategy effectively to senior leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and building excitement around strategic initiatives.
