During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

We are looking for a Integration Specialist to lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust integration solutions that align with our business objectives. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams—including architecture, data engineering, application support, and business stakeholders—to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure integrations. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Boomi and Microsoft Azure, and a solid background in API integration and data architecture. It will be a remote position in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Solution Design & Translation: Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical integration designs.
  • Integration Development: Develop, deploy, and maintain integrations between cloud and on-premises applications using Boomi and Azure technologies. Implement best-in-class solutions using APIs (REST/SOAP), microservices, event-driven architecture, and ETL pipelines.
  • Data Modeling & Monitoring: Design data models within Boomi Hub, and monitor/review integration performance and data flow health.
  • API Management & Architecture: Expand and maintain a reusable API catalog using Azure API Management; ensure resilient, scalable architecture for all integrations.
  • Optimization & Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and reliability issues across existing integration environments.
  • Collaboration: Partner with architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to ensure cohesive, secure integration ecosystems.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation including use cases, transformation logic, data mappings, and architecture diagrams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively recommend improvements in processes, practices, and technology adoption.
  • Mentoring: Guide and mentor junior developers and support staff.


Candidate Profile:

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 7–10 years of experience in integration-focused roles, including at least 3 years working with Boomi and Azure platforms
  • Proven hands-on experience with Boomi (design, deployment, monitoring, and Hub modeling).
  • Proficient with Azure services: Azure Data Lake, Service Bus, API Management.
  • Strong experience with API integration (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
  • Familiarity with tools and formats such as Java, JavaScript, XML, JSON, SFTP, WSDL.
  • Strong communication skills—both technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Nice-to-Have Skills:


  • Knowledge of Salesforce development (APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Components).
  • Experience with data governance, compliance, and security standards.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration techniques and trends.
  • Exposure to other integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Workato, Jitterbit).
  • Experience in leading integration projects and mentoring technical teams.
