CFIB is seeking a motivated, energetic, and coachable individual to join our team as an AG-Sales Manager in Training. This role will be based in the Southern Alberta region, covering Strathmore, Three Hills, Drumheller, Brooks, and the surrounding areas.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Begin with a hands-on territory sales role focused on building client relationships with farmers and agricultural business owners.
  • Develop a deep understanding of challenges faced by small and medium-sized agri-businesses and provide tailored solutions.
  • Grow and manage your own territory in Southern Alberta with entrepreneurial ownership.
  • Receive structured leadership development, ongoing mentorship, and in-field coaching to prepare for future Sales Management opportunities.
  • Become an expert in CFIB’s sales process, tools, and CRM technologies.
  • Represent the voice of independent agri-businesses in Canada and help them access tools, advocacy, and support through CFIB membership.

What We're Looking For

  • Sales Experience: 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or agri-business preferred.
  • Agricultural Acumen: Familiarity with farming, agri-business, or rural communities is an asset.
  • Strong Communicator: You can build trust quickly and deliver persuasive messages clearly and confidently.
  • Self-Starter: You’re resilient, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Growth Mindset: Eager to learn, open to feedback, and ready to take on increasing responsibility.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRMs, tablets (iPads), and digital presentation tools.
  • Mobile: Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
