Agilus is recruiting for a Claims Management Specialist - 18 Month Contract in the Alcoholic Beverage Industry in Windsor, Ontario.
The Claims Management Specialist will lead employee leave and claims processes, ensure compliance and payroll accuracy, and support smooth return-to-work transitions through close coordination with managers, employees, and external partners

The Claims Management Specialist will lead employee leave and claims processes, ensure compliance and payroll accuracy, and support smooth return-to-work transitions through close coordination with managers, employees, and external partners
A Typical Day
- Submit workers' comp claims and manage FMLA tracking for U.S. employees
- Provide clear, timely updates to employees regarding leave status, entitlements, and next steps
- Maintain detailed leave records and generate status reports for departments
- Lead return-to-work planning with stakeholders, ensuring accommodations and ongoing support
- Keep managers and People Business Partners informed on leave timelines and operational impacts
- Manage employee leave and disability claims in compliance with policies and legal requirements
- Collect and handle medical documentation to support claims and coordinate with external providers
- Work with insurance carriers and third-party administrators to ensure accurate claim processing
- 3-5 years of experience in case or claims management or a related field
- Solid knowledge of leave management, disability claims, and return-to-work practices across both the U.S. and Canada
- Strong knowledge of leave laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA).
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Effective communicator with a focus on supporting employees through critical life events
- Trusted subject matter expert in leave and claims management
- Experience with unions is considered an asset
- Must possess a team-oriented mindset and a genuine interest in personal and professional growth
