This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Pre-Sales Architect to support our sales and solutions teams in Montreal in driving the adoption of Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, and Modern Work solutions. This individual will play a critical role in client engagements by understanding customer needs, designing tailored solutions, and positioning the business and technical value of our Microsoft portfolio.

This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Pre-Sales Architect to support our sales and solutions teams in Montreal in driving the adoption of Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, and Modern Work solutions. This individual will play a critical role in client engagements by understanding customer needs, designing tailored solutions, and positioning the business and technical value of our Microsoft portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Architecture:
- Lead pre-sales solutioning for Microsoft cloud services including Azure IaaS/PaaS, Microsoft 365, Security, and Copilot/AI services.
- Architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions aligned with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework and best practices.
- Client Engagement & Technical Advisory:
- Conduct discovery sessions to gather client requirements across business, technical, and compliance domains.
- Present solution architectures, demos, and proof-of-concepts to both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, aligning Microsoft technologies with client objectives and industry standards.
- Sales Enablement:
- Partner with Account Executives to shape opportunity strategy and ensure technical win.
- Develop solution overviews, scopes of work, and level-of-effort estimates in response to RFPs and sales pursuits.
- Differentiate Microsoft solutions from competitors and drive value conversations.
- Partner Program & Licensing Expertise:
- Leverage deep knowledge of Microsoft Partner Programs (Cloud Solution Provider, MCA-E, Solutions Partner Designations, etc.) to position partner benefits and incentives.
- Guide clients on optimal Microsoft licensing models, cost management strategies, and bundling opportunities.
- Collaborate with partner channel teams to maximize funding programs (e.g., ECIF, AMM, FastTrack) and pre-sales support.
- Collaboration & Delivery Handoff:
- Work closely with Delivery and PMO to ensure solution feasibility, resourcing, and successful handoff.
- Support internal enablement and mentoring of the sales team.
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, or solution consulting with Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Expertise in:
- Azure: Core infrastructure, networking, identity, governance, BCDR, and platform services
- Microsoft 365: Teams, Teams Voice, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Intune, Entra ID, Defender
- Security: Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Zero Trust, Purview, Compliance Manager
- CoPilot and Fabric
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft licensing models (CSP, NCE, EA, MCA-E) and partner programs/incentives.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Licensing Specialist (or equivalent experience)
