The Business Unit Controller reports to the Corporate Controller. The main responsibilities of the selected candidate include, but are not limited to:
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes for the Oenology Business Unit.
- Monitor and analyze monthly performance, variances across regions.
- Prepare monthly business unit consolidated reports.
- Develop and present financial dashboards and reports to senior management.
- Support strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term plans.
- Collaborate with Commercial Teams to review historical results and build integrated, forward-looking forecasts using cross-functional input.
- Maintain adherence to corporate financial standards, internal controls, and compliance requirements, while driving process consistency and operational efficiency across entities and shared services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: sales, operations, R&D, marketing, and corporate finance.
- Serve as a central point of contact between local entity controllers and regional commercial teams to ensure aligned planning, resource allocation, and execution.
- Assist with year-end audit preparation & activities and financial consolidation when required.
Required
- CPA or equivalent accounting designation minimum
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance or controlling
- Proven expertise
- Financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Variance analysis and KPI monitoring
- Cost and margin analysis
- Consolidated P&L oversight
- Internal control implementation and audit readiness
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience working in multi-currency, multi-entity environments
- Experience with intercompany and inter-division transactions
- ERP and BI system experience (e.g., IBM Cognos BI)
