Responsibilities
- Support the development and refinement of the Operational Resilience framework, policies and govenrance structure in line with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the business and other functional teams across the Bank to provide oversight, challenge and guidance ensuring robust resilience strategies are in place and plans to execute on regulatory requirements.
- Support the overall strategy for the identification and maintenance of Critical Operations and their mappings.
- Collaborate with the business areas to define tolerances for disruption.
- Build out key risk indicators to support the monitoring of tolerances for disruption.
- Assist in the planning and execution of scenario testing exercises.
- Support the development of relevant risk reporting to the various Risk Committees and Regulators.
- Gain support form business teams to support implementation of the operational resilience roadmaps and methodologies.
- Monitor the status of the key activities and provide status updates.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and partners by addressing issues and concerns in a timely manner and providing on going advisory services.
- Develop a strong understanding of risk application ("Resolver") and provide recommendations for use across the operational resilience program components.
- Contribute to the overall Operational Resilience education by developing training programs and executing them across all areas of the Bank.
- Stay informed on the latest operational resilience techniques and industry best practices.
- Ensure continuous and effective communication across all Lines of Defence risk teams.
- University degree in a relevant field and 5 years of relevant experience
- In depth knowledge of operational risks, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks
- In depth knowledge of banking products
- Exposure to development of E-21 Operational Resilience program development and execution
- Strong analytical skills with a pragmatic approach
- Client (internal) and quality focused
- Solid communication and relationship management skills
- Team player and proactive
- Bilingualism spoken and written is an advantage
