We are seeking a passionate and driven Operations Coordinator at our SAIT Campus facility to lead our team in delivering outstanding service and maintaining the high standards that SAIT is known for. As the Curated Catering Coordinator, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the SAIT Curated Catering department.
Curated Catering Coordinating Responsibilities:
Enter events into the scheduling itinerary as they are booked
Counting tickets for host bars
Reconciling of BBC’s after events have been actualized
Assisting on the floor as needed
Curated Catering Coordinating Responsibilities:
- Coordinating between Opera and Catertrax to ensure all updates and pop ups are communicated to FOH and BOH teams
- Printing checklists of BEO’s for cart pack list
- Compiling event packages in conjunction with catering operations manager
- Updating catering packages and editing menus
- Organizing BEOs for easy review and access by FOH and BOH teams
- Printing Schedules
- Reviewing the internal and external reports form Commercial Services
- Sending Weekly Room Reports
- Compiling Event feedback to share with SAIT Commercial Services
- Coordinating Security access for all event spaces
- Assisting the Catering Operations Manager and Floor Managers to ensure the success of all events by completing the following;

Assisting on the floor as needed
- Participating in Catering events such as Wedding Fairs, tastings, or Catertrax information sessions
- Reviewing website landing page for accuracy
- Updating mobile ordering platform to include daily features and managing the back-end of the application for both To Go ordering and meal plan sales
- Printing daily menus for features.
- Compiling Dining Centre feedback to share with SAIT Commercial Services
- Assisting with special events and theme nights, including but not limited to advertising, social media and print media, managing RSVP’s and liaise with kitchen and RL advisors
- Scheduling regular meetings with RA’s and RL’s to coordinate meal plan holders and residence inclusive events.
- Assisting with the management of content for social media in the dining center
- Participating in events such as move-in days, orientations, and meal plan information sessions
- Reviewing StarRez and website landing page and mobile ordering platform for accuracy
- Ensuring cleanliness of the office, up to and including taking out garbage, recycling, wiping down desk workspaces and computers.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of storage cabinets
- Ordering office supplies
- Completing inventory and ordering of a variety of dry goods and front of house supplies
- Counting and entering monthly inventory numbers for beverage costs
- Answering all phones and responding to inquiries related to both catering and meal plans
- Ensuring that all training manuals and binders are up to date and ready for new hires once they have been hired with Curated Catering or the Dining Centre
- Participation in all Manager Meetings, taking meeting minutes and logging them electronically, helping devise action plans and following up to meet deadlines.
- Reviewing SAIT NOW for relevant information that may enhance our operations
