The Consultant – Automation Engineering leads the administration and optimization of SOAR platforms and automation infrastructure. This role is responsible for driving technical excellence, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and efficient automation solutions across the security operations landscape.


What you will do: 

  • Administer and optimize SOAR platforms and automation pipelines
  • Lead the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Provide technical leadership in Python scripting and Git CLI usage
  • Collaborate with SOC/NOC teams to align automation with operational needs
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and training content
  • Conduct performance analysis, system testing, and tuning
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and clients


What we expect of you: 

  • Proven experience in SOAR administration and security automation.
  • Strong Python scripting and Git CLI proficiency.
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Background in NOC/SOC operations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience with Ansible and AWX/Tower a plus
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Graph a plus
  • Exposure to AWS environments and AI/ML integrations a plus
