About The Role
The Sales Representative role with Moncel is a dynamic, remote position focusing on engaging clients across Canada and the US. As a key member of the Sales Team, you will qualify and convert business-to-business leads nationwide, build and maintain strong client relationships, and report directly to the Team Lead, with strategic alignment to the VP of Sales.
In this role, you will collaborate with marketing, customer service, and product teams to promote Moncel’s online food safety and alcohol service compliance certification courses, driving revenue growth and helping businesses stay compliant in critical industries.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Qualify incoming and outbound leads to identify high-potential opportunities.
- Convert qualified leads into customers using tailored sales techniques and solution-based selling.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement.
- Conduct cold calls and email outreach to generate new business opportunities.
- Manage customer accounts, addressing issues, identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring retention.
- Maintain accurate lead and account data in CRM systems like Salesforce for reporting and forecasting.
- Represent Moncel’s brands across all customer interactions, reinforcing trust and credibility.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, and product development teams to improve lead conversion and client experience.
- Proficient with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipelines and track customer interactions.
- Comfortable using outreach tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar.
- Strong prospecting and hunting skills, including high-volume outreach and cold calling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for persuasive sales interactions.
- Proven selling and negotiation abilities to close B2B deals.
- Resilient, persistent, and self-motivated to meet sales targets in a remote environment.
- Adaptable and resourceful in response to changing market conditions or compliance requirements.
- Skilled at time management and task prioritization in a high-volume, remote sales role.
- Post-secondary degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience (SDR or full-cycle), with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience using digital communication and documentation tools (Google Suite, PandaDocs).
- Demonstrated success in lead qualification, conversion, and account management.
- Prior remote work experience or proven ability to thrive in a self-directed setting.
