Main Accountabilities Include

  • Following and promoting safety SOP’s
  • Aircraft movement – brake riding
  • Ensure gates and pads are set up/taken down for all pushes and tows. Ensuring that you are in position and prepared to support the day of operation at the start of your shift.
  • Communicating in a clear, concise and professional manner with all stakeholders (internal & external).
  • Ensure all equipment is correctly signed out, filled up and returned to appropriate areas at the end of shift.
  • Adhering to and promoting adherence of acceptable radio communication standards.
  • Participate in required daily crew briefings with team members.
  • Adhering and promoting adherence to uniform standards.
  • Ensure that online communications are read in a timely manner.
  • Ensure incidents are reported in a timely manner and the necessary documentation filled out.
  • Maintain situational awareness of the internal and external passenger experience.
  • Attend all scheduled operational meetings and training.
  • Actively promote efficiency in the operation
  • Ensure that GPU’s and PCA’s or Heater carts are available and hooked up to the aircraft that are parked outside.
  • Monitor parked aircraft for condition and security, making sure that all external ground equipment units that are hooked up to the aircraft are operating and functioning normally.
  • Fuel all Tug’s / Trucks / ground equipment when required, notify GSE and DSM when ground equipment is unserviceable.
  • Wing walking.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid purple RAIC
  • Must have a valid AVOP
  • Must successfully complete Break rider course.
  • Must complete with passing grade all related training courses & requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be positive, approachable, and supportive of all team members, keeping the team focused, informed and up to date.

Exceptional attendance performance required.
