Accounts Payable Associate
How does the role impact the organization?
Raymond James Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to work in our downtown Vancouver office on full time basis with the opportunity for some remote work from home. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance (AP, AR, Commodity Tax), the Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices and expense claim reimbursements, and other payables duties.

Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc) $50,000-60,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.

Accounts Payable Associate
How does the role impact the organization?
Raymond James Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to work in our downtown Vancouver office on full time basis with the opportunity for some remote work from home. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance (AP, AR, Commodity Tax), the Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices and expense claim reimbursements, and other payables duties.
What will your role be responsible for?
- Be responsible for accurate coding/allocation of expenditures;
- Verify approvals according to company expenditure authorizations policy;
- Setup new vendor accounts in Multiview and maintain supplier billing relationships;
- Complete the data entry or excel upload of Multiview invoices, expense claims and journal entries;
- Process vendor cheque and EFT payments where needed;
- Reconcile vendor and G/L accounts, and liaise with vendors/staff as necessary;
- Perform other payables/accounting duties as required;
- Other duties as assigned.

What do we expect from you?
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position is an asset;
- Accounting education is an asset;
- Previous experience with Multiview Payables and/or G/L is an asset;
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel;
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written;
- Written and spoken French skills are an asset;
- A predisposition to pay attention to detail;
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints and follow-up;
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a professional and friendly manner.
