Position Summary:


This role supports the overall Graybar Canada communications and marketing plan. This role is responsible for the development of various strategic digital initiatives and materials, print/Web advertising and other components as requested.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Design and manage marketing promotions and sales incentives for Graybar Canada and vendors.

  • Coordinate monthly e-newsletter content and distribution.

  • Coordinate social media content calendar & strategy with Marketing Communications Coordinator support and Brand & Content Coordinator direction.

  • Manage and prioritize branch and division requests for various marketing collateral.

  • Coordinate & support event requests from branches or divisions of Graybar Canada

  • Support trade show requests from branches or divisions of Graybar Canada with Marketing team.

  • Oversee content requirements of website, including uploading pictures, banner/collateral changes, and updates as needed.

  • Support required deliverables pertaining to national Graybar Canada brand in line with Brand & Content Coordinator.

  • Coordinate video strategy & asset creation.

  • Maintain supplier relationships & coordinate marketing assets

  • Design & coordinate retail assets & signage.

  • Other duties assigned as needed.


Preferred Skills and Experience:


  • University degree or college diploma in Marketing, Graphic and/or Interdisciplinary Design, or a related discipline.

  • 1-4 years of marketing communications experience.

  • Fluent in English; French bilingualism considered an asset.

  • Design and creative development experience required.

  • Proficiency with desktop publishing software and Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro) required.

  • Demonstrated skills of social media applications & channels, and content development for social communities and/or groups is required.

  • Experience with PPC campaigns including via social media networks and Google Ads/Bing Ads considered an asset.

  • Understanding of the marketing and sales process between vendors, employees, and customers to create appropriate and persuasive marketing communications is an asset

  • Strategic thinking, including the ability to quickly identify and understand issues and opportunities.

  • Must be a results-oriented, independent self-starter with a sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail.


Working Conditions:


  • Some travel is required (>10%)

  • Ability to attend and conduct presentations/webinars

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals

  • Overtime as required
