What are your contributions to the team?

  • Provide Nomenclature/Engineering Data Services (EDS) support for multiple programs dealing with changes to the basic aircraft, options, certification, and in-service issues
  • Ensure Engineering documentation conforms to Bombardier Standards (BM) and upload to the archival system
  • Release Engineering documentation in enterprise application/site (CATIA/ Datalink, Teamcenter)
  • Support in creation of part numbers in SAP
  • Creation of Material BOMs in SAP
  • Audit/validate attributes of engineering drawings in the enterprise PDM system
  • Support multiple teams with general inquiries concerning Engineering documents and procedures
  • Create Issue-Logs when post-Release engineering discrepancies occur on the G7500 program.
  • Provide engineering Configuration Management support for multiple programs by creating Engineering Configuration Statements (ECS) for Delivery and Certification of Airworthiness milestones
  • Validate the component configuration and BOM when aircraft effectivity is swapped (Tilts)
  • Create engineering “N” Numbers for raw materials in SAP to support the Methods & Production teams
  • Maintain the list of BAPS in SAP (Bombardier Aerospace Process Specifications)
  • Support the validation/release of AMO (Advance Material Order) for manufacturing
  • Generate SAP and Excel VBA scripting.


How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree, college diploma, or equivalent and a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience
  • You are familiar with the definition and detail Engineering, aircraft configuration and change management processes
  • You have the ability to act as an ambassador with regard to business initiatives (BOE, Master Plan, etc.) and is able to engage your team in them
  • You are a leader capable of balancing the management of deliverables as well as the commitment of your team
  • You have a professional attitude, are able to deal with internal and external Business Aircraft customers
  • Superior communication skills are essential. You have excellent time management skills. You are a far-sighted person, precise, who likes to invest in the objectives and to have responsibilities
