We’re looking for a talented 3D Shot Finaling Artist to join our award winning, internationally acclaimed hit series, Paw Patrol for a short-term contract.

We’re looking for a talented 3D Shot Finaling Artist to join our award winning, internationally acclaimed hit series, Paw Patrol for a short-term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Fix unwanted artifacts in shots coming out of Animation (e.g. floating, intersections, tangents) as well as kickbacks from downstream departments
- Address minor modeling and surfacing issues in Houdini-based assets
- Address minor grooming issues (fur, foliage, feathers)
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
- Publish QC'd shots from Animation into Lighting
- Maintain continuity between shots to keep a continuous flow throughout episodes
- Use Shotgrid to track shots coming in to and going out of the Finaling department
- Previous Finaling experience
- Houdini/USD experience
- Minimum 5 years of production experience in animated series
- Ability to take direction and adapt to change
- Generalist experience is a major asset
- Experience with the production process from Layout through Compositing is an asset
- Knowledge of Python is preferred
- CFX experience is an asset but not necessary
