Job requirements

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Competencies include:
  • 5 years of technical recruiting and sourcing experience
  • Ability to produce quality results working autonomously
  • Experience in supporting processes to provide metrics (Time To Hire, Cost Per Hire, Sourcing ROI, etc.)
  • Focus on establishing a positive candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Knowledge of privacy laws within North America with GDPR being an advantage
  • Detail-oriented and not afraid of a multiple-step process
  • Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Passionate about talent acquisition and up-to-date on industry best practices, thinking innovatively and outside-the-box for talent attraction strategies
  • Interested in establishing fit-for-purpose systems, tools, and resources within the recruitment lifecycle (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.)
  • Demonstrates confidence and leverages appropriate negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Experience supporting multiple open vacancies at a time with the ability to effectively prioritize hiring requirements

Job responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for vacancies across business functions including, IT, Sales, Business Development and Operations
  • Effectively attract, source, and pre-screen candidates to qualify skills, aptitude for current vacant positions
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to establish appropriate and fit for purpose and Recruitment plans
  • Implement sourcing strategies to target niche technical roles and maintain a diverse and qualified talent pool
  • Conduct talent mapping and other activities to identify and target high-performing talent
  • Maintain professional standards ensuring a high-quality candidate and hiring team experience
  • Evaluate and obtain market data to provide insights on competitive compensation package
  • Collect candidate documentation and maintain and adhere with document management best practices and privacy obligations
  • Collaborate and enable hiring managers to ensure hiring decisions are made and in a timely manner and top talent is secured
  • Plan and participate in career fairs, networking events, and potentially other projects or recruitment initiatives
  • Meet tight deadlines for high-volume interviewing and selection
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure appropriate workflows and provide data, analytics, and insights on recruitment progress
  • Maintain preferred recruitment agency/vendor relationships to leverage as required
