REGISTERED NURSE (RN), CLINICAL CARE LEADER, EMERGENCY

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the Fort St. John Hospital.

Reporting to the Director of Care the Critical Care Leader is responsible for the quality of care provided and oversees the work of the Emergency and Intensive Care Units/Program staff. The Critical Care Leader provides leadership in the development of Critical Care clinical practice by teaching, consulting and demonstrating specialized nursing skills to deliver quality services to align with the NH Mission, Vision and Values. The Critical Care Leader coordinates and facilitates day to day activities of Critical Care Programs to ensure effective use of resources and communication among other health care providers and conflict resolution. As a role model and coach collaborates with Critical Care Educator to orientate staff and provides ongoing professional development to team members through education/learning plans and quality risk management activities.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, 07:00 to 15:00

Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre has 44 Acute Care beds and 124 residential beds and is equipped to handle 22,000 ER visits per year. Some more highlights about the hospital:

• Endoscopy suite, 2 state-of-the-art operating rooms, plus a procedure room
• Ambulatory clinics including Cancer and Hemodialysis
• Medical and Surgical inpatient rooms (40 beds)
• 3 Intensive care units
