Role Description
Arcadis is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Ontario, supporting projects across Canada. This role involves a combination of on-site and office-based work, depending on project needs, with reporting lines to the Project Manager and Site Superintendent. The Construction Project Coordinator will be responsible for tracking daily project costs, producing documentation such as purchase orders and subcontractor agreements, processing subcontractor invoices, and preparing reports for the Project Manager.
Role Accountabilities
The Construction Project Coordinator will support project management by liaising with sub-contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders. Key responsibilities include implementing and updating planning and scheduling systems, coordinating administrative tasks like drawing control and change order management, and maintaining project files, records, and systems. They will also manage cost forecasting systems, prepare progress reports, and oversee client contract communication platforms. Additional responsibilities include organizing preconstruction meetings, resolving issues, handling sensitive information, and proofreading project plans and procedures. The coordinator will provide general support to the Site Superintendent and Project Manager as needed.

The salary range for this position is $56,000-84,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.

- Ability to interpret project drawings.
Required Qualifications:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in environmental construction projects or multi-million-dollar construction projects.
- Familiarity with working on-site in a construction office trailer.
- Educational background in a related field, such as accounting or economics.
- Flexibility to work in indoor and outdoor environments and adapt to project-specific schedules.
