- Adjusts and runs the die cutter
- Follows all Health and Safety rules and procedures
- Responsible for make readies and the operation of die cutting press.
- Responsible for quality of product
- Meets productivity goals
- Responsible for accurate written and computer production reports
- Follows established quality control inspection and documentation procedures
- Performs minor repairs to tooling as required
- Follows product identification procedures.
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Follows SQF guidelines
- Follows all company policies and procedures.
- Attends and participated in ongoing training.
- Not limited to duties as described above.
- Grade 12 or acceptable experience.
- On-the-job training required and/or related experience.
- Employees must be both familiar and able to adhere to company safety policies and government legislation (i.e. Occupational Health and Safety Act).
- Respects individuals, the organization, authority, the community and the team.
- Can work in teams.
- Autonomous.
- Ability to adapt.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Good communication skills.
- Good physical condition and capable of heavy lifting.
- Strong technical trouble-shooting skills.
