Your Day with Equisoft:
- Involved in the preparation and review of the company’s monthly consolidated financial statements (income statement, financial position, cash flow) comprising multiple entities in different countries and currencies
- Prepare and review consolidation journal entries
- Prepare and review complex accounting journal entries
- Analyze and reconcile the financial statement accounts under your responsibility
- Prepare the group consolidated financial statements and other statutory financial statements
- Participate in the close process improvement project and implement the improvement initiatives for the Consolidation group
- Interact with the different business units, corporate departments and external auditors
- Participate in various special projects and prepare ad hoc analyses.
- Involved in the redaction of accounting memo and accounting positions for the Group
Technical
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with CPA, CFA or MBA
- At least 4-6 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IFRS is required.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent knowledge of English & French (spoken and written)
- Strong sense of organization and prioritizing
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information
- Resilience, drive, and energy that radiates throughout all interactions
- Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment
- Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline
- Experience with Netsuite
- Experience in IFRS 15 within the professional service industry
- Experience in one of the Big six accounting agencies (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, RCGT or MNP)
- Experience in multi-site and multi-currency entity
