The Role: We are looking for our next Raw Material Contract Specialist within our Canada Raw Materials Team. The Raw Material Contract Specialist will be responsible for managing the full cycle of raw material procurement and contract administration, ensuring accurate reporting and delivery of savings goals, and supporting supplier relationship management programs.
This position is located in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada.
What You’ll Do:
• Manage the Contract and Payment Management Process for the Raw Materials Team:
• Enter, maintain and reconcile contracts in SAP for weekly and monthly reporting
• Create and maintain grower/supplier accounts in SAP with accurate information.
• Prepare and finalize contracts using Docusign.
• Monitor and track weekly grower payments and validate raw material invoices.
•Coordinate inbound raw material movement and manage logistics discounts.
• Purchase raw materials and develop long-term relationships with suppliers.
• Conduct raw material market analysis and provide price forecasts.
• Foster relationships with key strategic suppliers and evaluate their performance.
What You’ll Need:
Education:
• BS or BA degree in Business Admin, Agri-Business, Finance/Accounting or equivalent related experience.
Experience:
• Experience in Agriculture business helpful.
• Experienced negotiator, preferably in a multinational environment.
Work Environment: Hybrid, Typically about 2-3 days in the office and the other remotely. Subject to change. Need to be able to work from office as needed or as requirements change
Physical Demands:
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.
Business Travel: • Business trips up to 15% may be required.
