On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Change Management Lead to support the CIS Program. The role of Change management Lead encompasses several activities to lead the planning and implementation of Prescriber and Clinician engagement strategies to build shared ownership and collaboration, awareness of the program, understanding of impacts and benefits and motivate and engage these impacted groups to be part of the transformation.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and design of change management approaches to support Prescribers and Clinicians
• Lead the planning and coordination of engagement events, including preparation of agendas, content, and translation.
• Lead the collection of Change Impacts relevant to Prescriber and Clinician Audiences.
• Plan, track and manage tasks using the Program management tool – Jira.
• Work with the Change Management and Communications Lead to identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues.
• Collect feedback through Prescriber and Clinician networks, analyze Change Readiness
• Lead planning and implementation of Prescriber and Clinician engagement strategies to build shared ownership and collaboration, awareness of the program, understanding of impacts and benefits and motivate and engage these impacted groups to be part of the transformation.
• Partner with CMIOs, CNIOs and other program leaders to deliver tactics that build readiness of Prescribers and Clinicians.
• Collaborate directly with communications, engagement and HR resources as needed.
• Lead the planning and coordination of engagement events, including preparation of agendas, content, and translation.
• Lead the collection of Change Impacts relevant to Prescriber and Clinician Audiences.
• As the CMC team grows, oversee day to day work of team members supporting Prescriber and Clinician engagement activities.
• Plan, track and manage tasks using the Program management tool – Jira.
• Work with the CMC Lead to identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues.
• Collect feedback through Prescriber and Clinician networks, analyze Change Readiness Survey results and respond to this feedback by adapting engagement tactics
Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in a health-related discipline. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and relevant experience.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in a senior-level change management or healthcare leadership role (e.g., Change Lead or Sr. Specialist) leading transformation initiatives where healthcare providers were directly impacted.
• Must demonstrate experience managing change related to clinical documentation, clinical workflow, and/or large-scale healthcare technology projects (e.g., Clinical Information Systems, EHRs, or digital transformation projects) with clinical user groups.
Scored qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing change initiatives, with the ability to develop and execute effective change management strategies, communications, and engagement plans in complex, dynamic environments—particularly those involving technology-enabled transformation and a high degree of ambiguity.
• Demonstrated 7+ years of experience working in a healthcare setting, with at least 5 years in a change leadership capacity.
• Significant experience designing and leading change strategies for clinical stakeholders, including prescribers and clinicians, in complex transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability/experience with:
o Leadership of clinical change strategies
o Deep engagement with healthcare providers
o Collaboration with CMIOs, CNIOs, and clinical leaders
o Development of clinician readiness and engagement strategies
• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Change Manager or Change Management Lead in a clinical CIS transformation context where healthcare providers are directly impacted by the change, including:
o Experience developing fit-for-purpose clinical engagement and readiness strategies
o Communicating benefits and impacts
o Supporting adoption
• Experience leading CIS adoption and change impact assessments, including:
o Development and oversight of change plans
o Use of adoption metrics
• Demonstrated facilitation skills: leading change workshops or education sessions with healthcare providers in public healthcare settings, showing understanding of clinical workflows, terminology, and stakeholder dynamics.
• Candidate can demonstrate bilingualism in French and English (written and verbal), able to lead engagement, communications, and training initiatives in both languages.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams), Zoom, and Atlassian’s JIRA software, with hands-on experience in a workplace setting.
• Formal training in change management methodologies such as Prosci, ACMP, or equivalent, with the ability to apply structured approaches to organizational change.
