The Opportunity

Are you a detail-oriented multitasker with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a Coordinator, Business Operations to join our dynamic utility operations team. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of day-to-day business activities—from managing our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to supporting accounts payable, fleet, and expense management. You’ll also play a key role in administrative support and special projects that drive continuous improvement across the organization.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain and improve the CMMS, including upgrades and system enhancements.
  • Support accounts payable processes: vendor payments, month-end tasks, and reporting.
  • Assist in fleet and expense management activities.
  • Provide general administrative support for utility operations and strategic projects.
  • Participate in developing operational procedures, contractor agreements, invoices, and performance reports (KPIs).
  • Contribute to asset management initiatives, including registry development and monthly maintenance tracking.
  • Draft and coordinate reviews of process documentation.
  • Analyze operational data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Organize and manage electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring compliance with document retention policies.
  • Perform other related duties as needed to support the team.

Qualifications

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related administrative roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and produce clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
