Job Description Summary

Position: Triage Associate

Reports To: Triage Supervisor

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Cleaning lights, and film equipment. Checking their serviceability and preparing them for rental.
• Ability to process equipment in a safe and efficient manner to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Process equipment in a safe and efficient manner to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Must be proficient in the use small tools and their proper application.
• Perform required basic repairs to miscellaneous Lighting equipment and associated accessories.
• Advise Triage Supervisor of problems arising due to improper use of the equipment.
• Complete Loss and Damage information paperwork and give to Department head for pricing and distribution.
• Dispatch all Electronic repairs to Electronics technician for further evaluation.
• Rotate throughout Department to offer assistance when required.
• Assist Rental/Commercial Department personnel when required.
• Identify Sub-rental equipment and relocate to relevant area.
• Ensure that all WCB and Sunbelt safe work practices/requirements are complied with.
• Organize lighting equipment on the warehouse shelving so that it is displayed in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Operation of a forklift, order picker or pallet jack when required (training to be provided).
• Other duties as required.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the film industry including equipment and personnel preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of rental software program would be considered an asset, however not required.
• Must have strong organizational, interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  
  

Base Pay Range

22.89 - 31.47
