Job Description

As a Treasury Analyst, you will report to the Senior Director, Treasury, and act as a partner to business units to optimize the management of funds required for operations. You will also share responsibility for the daily cash positioning and work closely with the team to maximize the use of financial resources. This role involves monitoring cash flows, implementing liquidity risk management measures, and producing reports and performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimal liquidity management in collaboration with business units and banking partners.
  • Consolidate and enhance cash flow forecasts, integrating this data into management systems.
  • Design and update cash budgets, automating processes for greater efficiency.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor treasury activities and key performance indicators.
  • Optimize systems and tools to reduce manual operations and promote automation.
  • Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed of industry best practices through strategic monitoring.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, actuarial science, or mathematics (Master’s degree or professional designation CPA, CFA, CTP, FRM is an asset).
  • 2 to 7 years of experience in financial services or corporate treasury.
  • Experience with tools such as Kyriba, Power BI, VBA, SQL, or Bloomberg.
  • Advanced skills in data manipulation and dashboard design.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken.
