Account Executive - Vendor Programs

We are looking for an Account Executive - Vendor Programs to drive the growth of our national direct bill programs by working with leads generated online, through our field sales team, and your own outreach. You’ll collaborate with top vendor partners to deliver exclusive programs to automotive dealerships across Western Canada. - Collaborative & Strategic – You’ll be working alongside vendor reps, fellow Solutions Consultants, and internal teams to maximize program adoption and customer value.
- Confident Communicator – You know how to ask the right questions, position a solution, and walk decision-makers through a value-based conversation that gets results.
- Organized & Proactive – With many programs and moving pieces, you’re structured in your follow-up, pipeline management, and use of CRM tools to stay ahead of your targets.
- Experienced in B2B Sales – You understand the rhythm of a sales cycle, know how to prospect and qualify, and are confident managing opportunities from lead to close.
- Drive sales growth of WD Co-Auto’s Direct Programs (e.g. Staples, Van Houtte, Shell/Esso/Petro Canada Fuel, 8760 Credit Card Processing, Canadian Linen, and more).
- Work with warm leads from our online channel, vendor partners, and our field sales team to identify and close new business opportunities.
- Meet with dealerships to present programs, gather information, and support adoption of services that reduce cost and streamline operations.
- Partner with vendor representatives to coordinate joint selling efforts and maximize value to the customer.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate onboarding, smooth implementation, and program follow-through.
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience (experience with vendors, purchasing programs, or channel management is an asset)
- Proven ability to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholder groups
- Comfortable managing a territory and pipeline with minimal supervision
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or business
- Excellent communication, follow-up, and presentation skills
- Strong working knowledge of CRM tools and online prospecting

This role is based in Calgary and includes travel as necessary across Western Canada.
