Customer Service Representative, Accounts Payable (Full-Time) - Edmonton, AB

Reporting to the General Sales Manager, this position is primarily responsible for Accounts Payable for the Edmonton branch.

Major responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries
  • Track expenses and process expense reports
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions
  • Investigate and resolve all vendor inquiries
  • Coordinate account adjustments to reconcile accounts, as required – check all aspects of an account; contact customer if more information is required; process credit debit adjustments
  • Backup to reception on holidays and during breaks
  • Daily cash reconciliation backup

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree/Diploma or higher; or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of customer service experience
  • 3+ years Accounts Payable experience
  • Experience using JD Edwards is an asset
  • Knowledge of MS Word & MS Excel

  • Strong attention to detail with a healthy dose of curiosity to identify and resolve issues
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks within deadlines
