About This Position

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection Inc, a national charitable organization dedicated to the personal safety of all children, is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual with strong organizational, editing, and communication skills to join team as a full time Education Development Coordinator.

In this dynamic, fast-paced role, the Education Development Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, reviewing, editing and maintaining a wide range of educational content and program materials. This role also involves compiling reports, maintaining resource inventories, and helping improve internal content development and delivery processes in collaboration with various teams and partners.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of all educational and program resources.
  • Support strategic development of educational content and online training for children and adults.
  • Coordinate across departments—including Design, IT, Legal, and partner relations—to ensure materials are current, accurate, and aligned with the program goals.
  • Review content for clarity, readability, consistency, spelling/grammar, format, branding and use of trademarks.
  • Contribute to the digitization of educational resources and support implementation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate the roll out and the adoption of new or updated resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of educational products and resource inventories, including oversight of ISBN assignment, tracking, and resource life cycle (e.g. discontinuation).
  • Manage translation workflows including coordinating with translators, Designers, and Finance to ensure timely and accurate delivery of translated and printed materials.
  • Gather data to support continuous program improvements and reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in education, child development or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience delivering educational programming and strong knowledge of educational environments and instructional methods.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in proofreading and editing.
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal).
  • Experience multitasking and adapting within a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collecting data, reporting on feedback, and identifying program improvements.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers for word processing, spreadsheets, data management, CRM, email, and internet.

This position offers a salary range of $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
