The Pricing Analyst is instrumental in providing key analytical, maintenance, and costing support to the organization. You will help drive efficiencies within the organization and drive profitable growth into the future.

As the Pricing Analyst you are a real Data Intelligence Analyst. This role is instrumental in providing key analytical, maintenance and costing support to the organization. Specifically, you will become the catalyst which will drive efficiencies within the organization. Your detail-oriented nature will promote and sustain the profitable growth of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Review market trends for pricing opportunities to optimize revenues
  • Monitor cost and raw material fluctuations
  • Interpret data into compelling insights and present to a variety of levels of leadership
  • Analyze price relationships between products
  • Manage new product listings in the system with appropriate cost and other key data elements
  • Assist in development of new key insights by constructing reports which can be utilized throughout the organization
  • Maintain data integrity within the system by conducting vendor reviews to ensure accurate information is present
  • Manage vendor price adjustments by uploading data within the system while maintaining accuracy
  • Maintain accurate vendor contracts and audit monthly denials

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Business or Mathematics
  • 2-3 years previous experience in similar role
  • Microsoft Office expertise, especially in Excel (v-lookup, index match, Pivot table)
  • Excellent communicator – speaks and writes clearly and to the point
  • Analytical and organized with relentless attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team player who displays personal leadership
  • Basic knowledge of financial statements and trial balance information
  • Proven track record of process optimization an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced national distribution environment
