What You'll Do
- Safely maneuver trailers within the yard according to dispatch instructions.
- Perform nightly yard checks and ensure proper trailer placement.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and dock teams.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and follow company safety protocols.
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Previous yard shunting or related experience preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
