The Role

Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Receivable Administrator, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving our financial success. Due to an internal promotion, this exciting opportunity has opened up for you to ensure our accounts receivable process runs smoothly by accurately recording transactions, assisting with timely collections, and maintaining impeccable financial records. Your commitment to learning and contributing to efficient AR operations will be key as you build positive relationships with clients and internal teams, all while upholding the financial integrity of our organization.

  • Support the activation of new customer accounts by gathering required documentation and assisting with system setup
  • Assist with the entry and validation of miscellaneous sales orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and distribute manual invoices under the guidance of senior team members
  • Process incoming payments (EFT, wire, cheque, and direct draws), ensuring timely and accurate application to customer accounts
  • Respond to basic accounts receivable inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in processing accounts receivable deductions (ARD) through the Laserfiche system
  • Conduct routine follow-ups with customers regarding overdue balances, escalating unresolved issues as needed
  • Support basic AR reconciliations, including identifying unapplied cash and assisting with the resolution of simple discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and share recommendations with senior team members

What you have:

  • Minimum 2+ years experience in accounts receivable.
  • Attention to detail is paramount .
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal .
  • Prioritization and management of multiple competing tasks.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Microsoft 365 applications .
  • Keen interest in solving problems .
  • Operate as an owner and see issues and opportunities through to end state .
  • Ability to work independently and within a team is key .

The typical hiring range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually complemented by a bonus plan; the base pay is determined by market location and job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
