Senior Business Project Manager:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Project Manager for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.


Senior Business Project Manager - Job Description:

The Senior Business Project Manager will manage multiple digital and AI capability projects from initiation to post-implementation. This role involves overseeing end-to-end integration delivery and ensuring all business work packages are completed in collaboration with the Tech IT Project Manager.


Senior Business Project Manager - Responsibilities:

• Lead projects with a budget of 5 million dollars or more, managing 3-4 projects concurrently
• Act as the primary delivery executive, ensuring successful project execution
• Engage in executive-level business and technology discussions
• Lead project team through problem determination and issue resolution
• Create and support project charter development with the Business Sponsor delegate
• Report on delivery status to executive bodies regularly
• Develop strong, productive relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Ensure all phases of testing and implementation activities are covered
  
  
  

Senior Business Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in Project Management
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project
• Strong experience managing project financials

Senior Business Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience within the banking industry
• Previous experience working with risk groups
• Familiarity with SEED and business cases
