The impact you will have:

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager works closely with Senior Management to drive company’s performance improvements. This person would be a key member of the group responsible for providing senior management with the information, reports and analysis used to make major operational, financial, and strategic decisions. This Manager will have regular interaction with the CFO, VP Finance, Controller and members of the company’s Leadership Team.

What you will do:

  • Lead the development of the annual operating plan (AOP), including establishing timelines, guiding divisions on key assumptions, assisting with target setting, facilitating alignment meetings, and preparing and presenting the AOP deck to the UCS leadership team.
  • Development, maintenance and enhancement of scorecards, dashboards, reports and presentations used to support our data driven decision making processes.
  • Ensure data integrity between systems, including troubleshooting and resolving data and system integration problems in coordination with the IT team.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing performance metrics and reporting leveraged by the FP&A team
  • Provide monthly analysis and insights on operating results and comparison to forecasts
  • Analysis of market trends, competitive intelligence and other external data to support decision making of the Leadership team.
  • Prepare materials to be used in reports to the board of directors and senior leadership
  • Analyze business drivers, identify areas of opportunity and risk, drive improvements, and strengthen UCS’ long-term vision of success.
  • Continuously improve & define new business processes and evolve our ability to provide answers to recurring and ad-hoc requests.
  • Support external reporting requirements and annual/quarterly audit activities
  • Provide management with timely ad hoc financial analysis as required to support the achievement of corporate performance goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table:

  • Experience with ERP and reporting platforms (i.e. Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Power Point.
  • CPA designation required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in FP&A roles, preferably with focus on reporting and information management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math or Engineering.
